Audiotour the Stonehenge Estate

Whether it's a trip down memory lane on the Estate Tour or an unexpected discovery in the unique Gift Shop, a visit to Stonehenge Estate is sure to surprise and delight you! Nestled on several acres of woods and beautifully landscaped grounds, Stonehenge Estate represents the many grape growing farms and family wineries that prospered on the Lake Erie islands in the mid-late 1800's. Open to the public for over twenty years, this on-going family preservation project is a "must see" that gives visitors a true taste of island living from yesterday and today.

Considered by many to be the "best kept secret on Put-in-Bay", the Stonehenge Estate Tour has been a favorite with island visitors for over twenty years! Tours include a charming stone home (circa 1870's) and wine press cottage (circa 1850's) that give visitors a sense of island living from yesterday and today. Both buildings are listed in the National Register of Historic Places and are filled with antiques, photographs and island memorabilia for visitors to enjoy. Also included on the tour are the cottage wine cellar (complete with original island grape press), beautiful grounds and a variety of outdoor displays.

Stonehenge Estate tours are open daily throughout the summer months and leave continually during regular business hours. These self-guided audio tours take approximately 20 minutes and allow you to relax and enjoy the property at your own pace.
